Call
When you contact our back office, you may be asked a number of control questions to ensure that your data does not end up with someone else.
INSURANCES
Nautic Rentals offers you the possibility to book a cancellation insurance for your stay. We do this in collaboration with Europeesche Verzekeringen. Europeesche Verzekeringen is ultimately the party with whom you take out insurance, which is why we pass on your details to this party before taking out the insurance.
IMPROVE SERVICES
Your opinion is important to us. We are very curious about how you experienced making your reservation and the subsequent stay. You will therefore find an assessment form in the accommodation you have rented. We use your assessment about your stay internally to improve our services.
USE WEBSITE
When you use our website, we automatically store certain information. This may include information from which URL you came from, which URL you go to, which browser you use, your IP address and the date and time you accessed our website. We also collect information about the hardware, software and internet browser you use. We use this information in the normal use and management of our website and may release this information in groups. This grouping makes it impossible to trace the data back to a particular user. We are not interested in data that says anything about the identity of the visitor to our site. Nautic Rentals is interested in information that says something about the use of the site, such as: how many visitors do we get? What are the busy hours and which pages are most visited?
USE OF COOKIES
The Nautic Rentals website may use cookies, small pieces of information that are written to the user's hard drive to facilitate the use of the website. For example, cookies are used to avoid having to constantly identify yourself for personalized services. The use of cookies is generally accepted by users, and you will find them on almost all major websites. If you disable the use of cookies in your browser, we cannot guarantee the correct functioning of our website.
DATA WE RECEIVE FROM THIRD PARTIES
Sometimes we do not receive data directly from you, but from another party. For example, when you make a booking for one of our accommodations through a partner of ours, this partner forwards certain information from you to us. This way we can register and process your booking. Questions or changes regarding your booking or stay can also be passed on to us by our partners. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of the receipt of your data. Any information we receive from third parties may be combined with information provided by you.
WHAT ARE THE BASIS?
When processing your personal data, we adhere to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation. There is therefore always a basis for processing your personal data. Your data is mainly processed when making a reservation. We need this information for the execution of the agreement between you and Nautic Rentals. The same applies if you wish to take out insurance through us. If you do not provide us with the required personal data, you will not be able to use our services. Nautic Rentals has a legitimate interest in processing your data in the context of improving our services, our marketing activities and contact moments with our back office. We have carefully considered your interests and those of the organisation.
Processing of some of your data is also necessary to comply with a legal obligation. For example, we are legally obliged to register some of your data in the night register. If we want to know more information about you, we will always ask for your permission.
TO WHICH PARTIES DO WE GIVE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
For the parks that we manage ourselves, we are obliged to register your name, place of residence, arrival and departure date in the night register. The municipality can ask us to provide the data from the night register. In connection with the mandatory tourist tax return, we also provide the municipality with your zip code, place of residence, date of birth, family composition, arrival date and departure date. After making a reservation, we will pass on your details to the park where you will be staying, so that the park staff can welcome you well prepared. We may take care of the operation of the park ourselves, but it may also be the case that the operation of a park is in the hands of a third party. However, we only pass on those personal data that are necessary for the execution of the agreement. The same applies in the event that you make a reservation with us for an accommodation offered by one of our partners.
We use services from third parties, such as IT suppliers, to manage our systems and provide our services. We ensure that these third parties handle your data correctly, if and insofar as they can see it. When you take out insurance through Nautic Rentals, the necessary information for taking out the insurance is passed on to Europeesche Verzekeringen.
This is the party that ultimately takes out the insurance with you and will also assess any damage claims. Your e-mail address can be passed on to Facebook for the display of targeted advertisements on Facebook.
In the unlikely event that you do not pay your invoices on time, we are forced to hand the claim over to a collection agency or a bailiff. The data necessary to collect the claim from you will be passed on to the collection agency or bailiff.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We do not store your data longer than necessary to achieve the objectives set out in this privacy statement, unless we have to keep the data for longer on the basis of a legal obligation. Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with you. Your data will be anonymized once this relationship has ended. Contact moments with our back office will be deleted within one year after the contact moment, unless the content of the messages can be important for your reservation or any future bookings.
HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA SECURE?
Nautic Rentals has taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use, such as unauthorized access to data. The state of the art and the costs of implementation have been taken into account so that we guarantee an appropriate level of security in view of the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the data to be protected. Our policy is aimed at ensuring that only those employees have access to your personal data who actually need access for the performance of their duties.
