The largest and clearest saltwater lake in Western Europe offers all kinds of opportunities for water sports and relaxation. From wonderful supping, a round trip or sloop sailing to dynamic surfing with the wind in your hair or sailing until the sun goes down. The location between the Oosterschelde and the Brouwersdam with the North Sea beach brings even more water fun such as blow karting and kite surfing within reach.
There is also plenty to do underwater here. De Grevelingen is a unique diving area. Thanks to a small connection with the sea and the low current, the water here is very pure. Good for the pipefish, cuttlefish, anemones and lobsters that live here and good for underwater visibility.
Non-water sports enthusiast
The non-water sports enthusiast can also enjoy the wetland area. During a trip around the Grevelingen you will soon discover that there is a lot to do in, on and around the lake. Deviate from your route and discover even more. There are so many activities, attractions, cafes, restaurants and shops that you can enjoy yourself for hours on the islands of Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland and on the Brouwersdam.
